DNX Bar is a meat-based energy bar founded by John Rooney.
For this project, we weren’t originally tasked with anything in particular other than “help with social media.”
After working with DNX for a few weeks it became clear that we simply needed to get more people to try the bar – there just wasn’t enough market penetration.
We suggested a “free bar” campaign.
For the DNX free bar campaign, we built out a simple one page landing page.
To get a free bar, visitors to the page had to share quite a bit of contact information, including full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
To promote the free bar we ran ads on Facebook.

The free bar campaign, despite a limited budget, generated just under 1,000 visits to the landing page, over 200 of which signed up for a free bar, providing a wealth of valuable marketing data for future outreach.
